Event-Based Visual Tracking in Dynamic Environments

چکیده
Visual object tracking under challenging conditions of motion and light can be hindered by the capabilities conventional cameras, prone to producing images with blur. Event cameras are novel sensors suited robustly perform vision tasks these conditions. However, due nature their output, applying them detection is non-trivial. In this work, we propose a framework take advantage both event off-the-shelf deep learning for tracking. We show that reconstructing data into intensity frames improves performance in which fail provide acceptable results.

Event-Based Activity Tracking in Work Environments
Wearable computers aim to empower people by providing relevant information at appropriate time. This context-based information delivery helps to perform intricate, tedious or critical tasks and improves productivity, decreases error rates, and thus results in a reduction of labor cost. To evaluate the usability of wearable computing in a work environment, we have chosen a car production scenari...

The use of robots in dynamic and unstructured environments poses diicult challenges for machine vision. The vision systems for such robots must report changes in the world quickly and must deal with a vast range of objects. In this paper, we describe a vision system that makes use of motion to pick out and track moving objects without requiring information about their shape. We have implemented...

Abstract. Typical applications of evolutionary optimization involve the off-line approximation of extrema of static multi-modal functions. Methods which use a variety of techniques to self-adapt mutation parameters have been shown to be more successful than methods which do not use self-adaptation. For dynamic functions, the interest is not to obtain the extrema but to follow it as closely as p...
